Life Coaching or Personal Coaching can be a valuable tool in identifying what you want from life and in facilitating you in getting the life you want. People come for coaching when they feel stuck, blocked or unfulfilled or when they are in a period of transition or a place of questioning. Some clients may be very satisfied with how their life is going and come for coaching to look at one area of their life that they want to improve. Other clients come to take time out and get fresh perspective. Below are some common themes that often arise during life coaching or personal coaching sessions:

Identifying What You Want - coaching can facilitate you in obtaining more clarity, focus or direction. This is the first step towards getting what you want. If you don't know what you want, knowing what you don't want is a great starting point.

Getting What You Want - once you know what you want, the next step is getting what you want. Creating a concrete plan is essential towards crystalizing your ideas into reality. Coaching can provide the motivation and the space for your creativity and solutions to flow.

Leaving the Past Behind - many of us spend more time analysing or reliving the past than we spend focusing on the here and now. The past is the past, we can't change it but we can change our future. All we ever have is the present moment and this is what coaching focuses on. 

Assessing how your Thinking impacts upon you - one of the most useful 'tools' you can use to lift your personal vibration is to learn to become conscious of your thoughts and the role negativity plays in your life. Many of us have certain programs and beliefs coded into our subconscious, some of the most common include 'I could never do that' or 'it's too late'. Coaching explores how your current thinking impacts you and that 'when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change' [1].

Feeling Stuck or Unfulfilled- coaching can help you to explore different choices and to remember that 'you don't find the perfect life, you create it' [2]

Improving your Self-Confidence - coaching can provide you with a range of tools and strategies that can empower you and build your self-confidence and self-esteem.
